Dr. Barry Taylor has over 40 years of experience in internal medicine. He founded EMC Ohio in 2012 with the goal of creating a practice that aligned with his values as a healthcare provider. He established a practice model in which he could spend ample time with patients and give them access to personalized, compassionate care.

Dr. Taylor received a degree in Chemistry from Butler University, graduated from medical school at Indiana University in 1983, and completed his internal medicine training at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and was a partner with Associated Specialists of Internal Medicine from 1986 until 2012.

Because he cares for his patients over many years, Dr. Taylor is passionate about improving quality of life and providing end-of-life care. He believes health is not only about living a long life, but also about being healthy enough to stay active and enjoy those later years.

Outside of work, Dr. Taylor enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren, as well as playing golf and piano, cycling, and woodworking.
